Heather Davis

Heather Davis, MS, NREMT-P. Heather Davis is the Program Director for the UCLA-Daniel Freeman Paramedic Education Program. Her previous position was the Education Program Director for Los Angeles County Fire Department where she managed primary EMT and continuing education programs for over 3000 EMT's and Paramedics. Heather has been involved in patient care and education activities in rural Iowa, suburban New York, and the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She has worked in disaster response, critical incident management, and tactical EMS. Heather is a former Board of Director for the National Association of EMS Educators and is the PHTLS State Coordinator for California. She was recently honored with the 2006 NAEMSE “Heroes of Education” Award and the County of Los Angeles Gold Eagle Award for Productivity and Innovation. She holds a Master of Science degree from New York Medical College, and is a published author and national speaker.
